What is Fox in a Box?

Fox in a Box by Room Escape is a themed real-life room escape game where participants use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzle, find clues, and achieve a mission within 60 minutes.

How much does it cost?

Fox in a Box prices start at 400 pesos per person and vary depending on team sizes. Please have a look at booking to find out more. Please also be aware that Fox In a Box is a live event and therefore once the booking is confirmed, refunds, cancellations or reschedules are not accepted. We accept all major credit cards. Drop-ins can also pay by cash.

How many games are there?

We have 7 rooms in our Polanco location: Bunker, Bank, Prision, Zodiac, The Attic, Tesla's Mystery and Pirates. If you have a large group you can split into 7 teams and play all 7 rooms the same time (head to head) or you can book the same room one after the other (back to back) while taking a break between games

What time do I need to arrive?

We recommend you arrive 10 minutes early to the time your game is booked since we need some time to give you some instructions, we have a 15 minute grace period, if you arrive or aren't fully read after those 15 minutes, your time will begin to run without you in the game, after the game we give you some times to decompress and talk about your experience, so in total your experience should last around 80 minutes!

What room should I play first?

The Bunker since it's a more linear and streamlined experience for people who have never done an escape room before, if you have played before, then you can choose any of our experiences!

Accessibility and special requirements

Our Escape Games are located on a second floor so unfortunately people must be able to get up stairs in order to play, in some games, players must be able to crawl, bend down and reach up in order to complete the puzzles inside of our rooms, we still want everyone to enjoy our games so shoot us a message for more details and special accommodations!

Team sizes

We recommend the teams to be between 3 and 5 players with four being the optimum number. Two people can play, but it is much harder, still just as fun tho!

Are we really locked in the rooms?

No, for the most part; if the goal of the game you chose is to complete a mission inside of the room, the rest assured that the doors of the room will be unlocked, if the goal is to escape, then the room will have a panic button in case you need to exit the room. Claustrophobic people can enjoy our games and leave at any time if they choose to do so. People with medical conditions can also visit the restrooms during the game.

Age limits

The minimum recommended average age of team members is 15. Younger children are welcome with their parents. Kids as young as 4 have played our games with parents but they can’t contribute to the team. They still love the scenery. The main reason of this limit is the complexity of the game. In Zodiac and in the Attic we recommend all players to be at least 12 years old due to the scary nature of the game

Team Building events

Fox in a Box is an excellent choice for corporate team building. Your teams will have to work together, use logic and creativity to overcome problems. It is the ultimate team-building event. If you have an HR department, someone from it can sit in our monitor área while watching them in our screens and observe the game, which gives insights into team dynamics.
